GRO Focus on Business Support Services

‌

The Business 911 Speaker Series provides a platform for business leaders to talk directly with GRO communities about business climates, regulatory or other issues that impact business operations in Missouri.

Business owners have to stay on top of a multitude of issues in order to keep their business in peak form - marketing, attracting new customers, HR and personnel issues, technology, legal considerations and so on. Now add a pandemic to that list of issues and you can understand why 2020 and beyond will forever present business owners with a framework for how they think about and conduct their business affairs.

Entrepreneurship and small business ownership can be a lonely journey, especially when confronted with an unprecedented event such as the COVID-19 pandemic. The Business 911 Speaker Series was started in 2018 to help business owners (and potential business owners) stay up-to-date on important issues. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the meetings have transitioned to a virtual platform but the benefits remain the same - knowledge sharing, mentoring, and a sense of community.

GRO harnesses the power of member communities to recruit speakers to share their expertise. Upcoming events are always advertised in this newsletter and recordings of past events can be found on the Business 911 Speaker Series website.

If your community is interested in contributing to the Business 911 Speaker Series event or have a speaker suggestion, please reply to this newsletter.
